The Management Team

Steven Van Praagh - Founder and CEO - Steven has been a business communications expert and Internet entrepreneur for over fifteen years. He has built and sold several internet businesses and is a proven business leader. Steven was the original founder of Web 2.0 apps; PrintPromotion.com (sold), PrintResponsibly.com (sold), ClickPrintShip.com, TheGrowthCycle.com and FocalSUITE.com. Steven's achievements include several technology lead business innovations and he is the author of mobile media patents as the founder of TruPing. He applies his hands-on experience in branding, software development, web standards, and e-commerce to develop and enhance our platform and grow the business. Steven is an active cyclist, golfer, photographer, youth sports coach, and father of two daughters. He received a BA in Communications from Adelphi University.

Tom Kiernan - Founder and President - Tom is a successful digital media entrepeneur, payment processing expert, and proven sales leader who has built and sold successful internet businesses. He has helped numerous Fortune 500 companies build their online businesses and helps drive new merchant account acquisition strategies for Chase Paymentech. His internet experience dates back to 1994 when he lead the development of American Express' first website. In the year 2000 Tom was a member of the executive team that took Organic Inc public - achieving a $6 Billion market cap having helped scale the business from its infancy. He has been recognized by Newsweek as "Media Star of the Future" and AdWeek as "New Media All-Star." Prior to ClickPayRent, Tom founded Arena Media Networks, a company that pioneered a national digital media network in MLB, NBA, NHL, and NFL stadiums across the U.S. He successfully lead the business as co-CEO and raised over $25 million to build the network. Tom is a three-time Ironman triathlete, having recently competed in the World Championship Hawaii Ironman. He is a youth sports coach, and father of three boys and received a BA from Holy Cross.

Steven Kamhi - Founder and EVP - Steve is a residential property developer in NYC for over ten years. "Necessity is the mother of invention" and Steve's search for a secure, convenient, and affordable solution to meet the demands of his tenants and business needs was the genesis of ClickPayRent. He drives the team to ensure that our product and pricing model meet the evolving needs of both large enterprise real estate owners and smaller property owners. Steve leverages his property owner relationships, hands-on experience managing profitable properties, and his active participation in the multi-family housing industry to help build the ClickPayRent brand. Steve is a youth sports coach, father of three, and studies martial arts. He received a BA in Business Administration from Adelphi University.

Craig Sands - New Business Development - Craig is a proven leader in executive management, sales and marketing with over 20 years focused on the Real Estate industry. Craig was the CEO of Rapid Park (2009) where he reorganized and restructured the organization. Craig oversaw operations of over 45 parking facilities, which produced revenue in excess of $30 Million. Prior to Rapid Park, Craig was the President of Communication Strategies Group (CSG). Craig managed the asset acquisition, monetization and arbitrage transactions. Craig continued as a consultant working with the largest real estate developers, owners, managers and communications companies throughout the U.S. and Canada. Craig?s expansive experience has most recently helped to secure strategic contracts with groups, such as the NY MTA for wireless infrastructure build out in NYC. Craig attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA and graduated with a degree in Communications. Craig currently runs the New York alumni chapter for Northeastern University.

Board of Advisors

Michael Beckerman - Michael is a public relations industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience. He has shaped Beckerman, a firm he founded in 1989, into one of the country's largest and most well-respected public relations agencies serving the real estate industry. The firm has an established client list of more than 100 companies in most major markets. Beckerman has represented hundreds of real estate companies of all sizes and sectors with their marketing and public relations requirements, having earned a national reputation as one of the most respected and experienced firms in the real estate industry.
Recognized with numerous awards for its charitable work, industry leadership and public relations programs, Beckerman has experienced growth every year since its founding. The firm also boasts an unparalleled client retention rate, the majority of Beckerman clients have been with the agency an average of seven years.

John Gallo John is managing director and head of North American sales across multiple asset classes, for CitiGroup. Prior to Citi, John was global head of liquid market sales at Lehman. At Lehman, Gallo headed sales for interest-rate products, foreign exchange, and commodities. John is also an angel investor in internet media and digital businesses. He provides a sounding board for the management team in evaluating new business ideas and opportunities, increased corporate accountability and discipline, and guidance on team effectiveness.

Douglas Bausch - Doug's 25 plus years in the Payments Industry include sales, marketing and product development leadership most recently as the Vice President of Brand Standards at MasterCard Worldwide. His extensive work in the payment field has given him the opportunity to connect with the leaders of the payment industry worldwide and to help bring to market some of the world's most successful payment programs.

Jeffrey Friedman - A founder of Shortpath Inc. and a former real estate attorney with web based application development skills, has been running the operations of Shortpath Inc since its inception as both the Chief Information Officer and President. He is also an inventor who has authored two patents in the real estate technology industry. Over the course of the last ten years, he has become well versed in technology solutions for the real estate industry and maintains a clientele list that includes The Related Companies, CBRE, Brown Harris Stevens and RFR Realty.
